Liverpool will begin their Champions League final preparations in Marbella this week.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are set to fly out to a training camp in the Costa del Sol on Monday with their clash against Tottenham Hotspur now just 12 days away.
It will be the second time that the Reds have set up a base in Marbella this season, following a four-day stint between league games in mid-February.
They also trained in the region ahead of last season’s Champions League final.
Roberto Firmino will link up with his teammates in Spain as he continues to recover from a groin injury which sidelined him for Liverpool’s season run-in.
The Brazil international was forced to miss the semi-final win over Barcelona as well as the final match of the Premier League campaign against Wolves.
Naby Keita will also jet out to Marbella amid claims by Guinea coach Paul Put that he could overcome an adductor injury in time to feature in the June 1 clash.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham will have the added luxury of naming up to 12 substitutes for their impending showdown at the Estadio Metropolitano.
A change in UEFA regulations this season allows for an additional seven players to be included on the bench in the Champions League and Europa League finals.
