Brad Smith has completed his £6 million move from Liverpool to Bournemouth.
Smith becomes the second Reds player to move to the South Coast club following their £15 million capture of Jordon Ibe earlier in the summer.
The Australian defender spent eight years on Merseyside, making his senior debut against Chelsea in late 2013 before going on to make a further 10 appearances under Jurgen Klopp last season.
He joins the Cherries on a four-year deal but Liverpool have the option of triggering a buy-back clause within the next two seasons.
Klopp’s faith in Smith was rewarded with a series of commanding performances that included a goal in the FA Cup third round tie with Exeter City but the 22-year-old was unable to displace Alberto Moreno at left-back.
