Liverpool have reportedly offered Lazar Markovic to Galatasaray with a £20 million price tag.
Markovic originally joined the Reds from Benfica in 2014 but failed to stake a claim under Brendan Rodgers, who sent the winger on a season-long loan with Fenerbahce less than 12 months later.
The Serbian international made 18 appearances for the Turkish club but struggled with injuries during his spell.
But with Markovic set to return to Liverpool this summer, question marks still remain over his Anfield future.
A return to Turkey could be on the cards with Fotospor reporting that Galatasaray are interested in securing the 22-year-old’s signature as Liverpool look to break even on their original transfer outlay.
However a proposed move would prove controversial as the Istanbul club are arch rivals of Fenerbahce.
