Liverpool are facing another raft of UEFA disciplinary charges following their Europa League final defeat to Sevilla.
European football’s governing body opened a fresh case against both the Reds and the Spanish outfit following events in Basel on Wednesday night.
Both club are set to face charges over crowd disturbances at St Jakob-Park after ugly clashes marred the build-up to Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat by Unai Emery’s reigning champions.
Fans setting off fireworks inside the stadium was also added to the Anfield club’s rap sheet while Sevilla will face action over their supporters throwing objects.
UEFA have already presided over seven previous charges brought against Liverpool this season, following events surrounding their quarter-final win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in March and both legs of their quarter-final with Borussia Dortmund last month.
The hearing into Liverpool’s latest disciplinary breaches will be heard on July 21.
