Jurgen Klopp has won successive Premier League Manager of the Month awards.
Klopp retained August’s accolade after Liverpool maintained their 100 per cent start to the new campaign with a further three victories in September.
The Reds saw off Newcastle United, Chelsea and Sheffield United en route to opening up their current eight-point advantage at the league’s summit.
It is the fifth time Klopp has won the award, seeing off Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City.
He has also taken three of the previous four Manager of the Month gongs since March 2019 with only Pep Guardiola’s win in April interrupting his dominance.
Klopp has now equalled the five Manager of the Month haul won by Rafael Benitez during his time in the Anfield hot seat between 2004 and 2010.
A total of six Liverpool managers have won the award with the German joining Benitez, Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier, Brendan Rodgers and Phil Thompson.
