Nabil Fekir’s agent believes his collapsed move to Liverpool could be revived.
The France international was on the verge of joining the Reds and underwent a medical before the deal ultimately broke down earlier this month.
Concerns about Fekir’s fitness are understood to have been a stumbling block in the £48.4 million deal, which Lyon claimed they had pulled the plug on.
Now the creative midfielder’s representative Jean-Pierre Bernes has hinted that the saga is not concluded despite the break-off in negotiations.
“Well he didn’t sign because well…it is not over!” he told La Chaine Info.
“This is not the end of the story.”
Fekir emerged as Liverpool’s preferred replacement for Philippe Coutinho after plans to sign West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini were scuppered by a season-ending knee injury.
