Roberto Firmino claims that Alisson has asked him about joining Liverpool.
Alisson is among Jurgen Klopp’s reported transfer targets with Simon Mignolet set to pursue regular first-team football away from Anfield this summer.
The Roma goalkeeper was named in Brazil’s 23-man squad for the World Cup and is working alongside Reds forward Firmino in the build-up to Russia.
And the Liverpool marksman revealed that Alisson, 25, has sounded him out over a potential switch to Merseyside but admits that it may be out of his hands.
“Yes, he asked me about Liverpool,” said Firmino.
“I hope he can come here but I know he has other proposals.
“From time to time I will give him a pinch to come to Liverpool and help us, but it’s with his agents.
“It wouldn’t be bad if he came to Liverpool.”
