Klopp confirms Liverpool boost for Old Trafford trip

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed a full-strength Liverpool will take on Manchester United.

Jordan Henderson is expected to lead the Reds in Saturday’s Old Trafford clash after recovering from a dead leg picked up against Porto in midweek.

Klopp received a further boost with Georginio Wijnaldum also back available for selection having overcome illness to return to first-team training.

Andy Robertson is another returnee after missing Tuesday’s Champions League stalemate with a knock picked up against Newcastle last weekend.

Klopp also revealed that Nathaniel Clyne is progressing well on his road to rehabilitation from a season-long absence from action for Liverpool.

He said: “Robbo was clear. Clyney still on a very good way – no further injuries to his back. Hendo, dead leg right, looked okay yesterday.

“Gini also on the way back, looked good. Obviously they lost one or two kilos but he should be okay.

“It was normal in training.”
