Liverpool’s operations director Andrew Parkinson has left the club after six-and-a-half years.
Parkinson moved to Anfield in autumn 2011 after a spell as general manager of Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
Among his greatest contributions during his time with the Reds was the redevelopment of the Main Stand.
The great-grandson of legendary Liverpool striker Jack Parkinson, his departure coincides with a ‘senior level business restructure’ at the club.
Peter Moore, Liverpool’s CEO, said: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Andrew for his dedication and professionalism he brought to the club.
“Under his leadership, we progressively developed our operations structure leading to the club being recognised as a leader in its field, and winning a number of customer excellence awards.
“We wish Andrew every success in his future endeavours.”
