Liverpool will make a late decision on whether Philippe Coutinho will face Huddersfield Town.
Coutinho is currently doubtful for the Terriers’ visit to Anfield on Saturday after suffering an abductor strain which could rule him out of the game.
It had been feared that the Brazil international would also face a battle to regain match fitness in time for the Reds’ own trip to West Ham next weekend.
Jurgen Klopp, though, insisted that his star man is not a definitive absentee for the encounter with David Wagner’s side.
Asked whether Coutinho would feature, he said: “It’s not clear at the moment.
“Last week he had some back problems before the Tottenham game.
“During the week it settled with treatment and stuff like that and he was a fit for the game
“This week he had a little problem with his abductor. It’s not clear so far if he is out for tomorrow. We will make a decision today after training.
“He didn’t train yesterday that’s true. No other new problems.”
