Martin Skrtel is reportedly mulling over plans to end his eight-year stay with Liverpool.
Skrtel remains one of the longest-serving members of the current Reds squad but has seen opportunities become increasingly limited following Jurgen Klopp’s arrival earlier this season.
To date, the Slovakian defender has made just two first-team appearances in 2016, including a second-half cameo in Liverpool’s capitulation at Southampton last month.
And Skrtel, who missed two months with a hamstring injury suffered against Watford in December, is now considering whether to leave Anfield this summer.
According to ESPN, the 31-year-old is weighing up his future with the impending arrival of Schalke defender Joel Matip on a free transfer set to further limit his chances.
