Adam Lallana has dished the dirt on several of his Liverpool team mates.
Lallana reported back for pre-season training on Monday as Jurgen Klopp’s side returned from their summer break but not before taking part in a television Q&A.
The influential Reds midfielder dubbed Simon Mignolet as the worst dressed player in the current squad while Lucas Leiva was credited as its strongest.
Others did not escape lightly in the Soccer AM interview with Roberto Firmino hailed as the Anfield dressing room’s biggest diva by Lallana.
But special praise was reserved for Firmino’s compatriot Philippe Coutinho.
He said: “It has to be Coutinho. Just on the eye, some of the things he does, you’d pay to go and watch him.
“Just because of how easy on the eye it is, it’s effortless at times.
“It’s great that we’ve got him playing for us and hopefully he has another fantastic season.”
Lallana also included himself in the answers on the best and worst, admitting that he was a teacher’s pet due to his strong link with Liverpool manager Klopp.
“He’s always got his arms around the lads, and he’ll give you a talking to if you need one,” he added.
“I’ve had a couple off him at half-time, during the game he’s screaming at you.
“But I think that’s a good thing.”
