Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom is set to complete his move to Derby County.
Wisdom spent the past four season on loan, one with the Championship side, and helped Red Bull Salzburg to an Austrian league and cup double last term.
But the 24-year-old will finally seal a permanent exit from Anfield after the Reds confirmed on Friday that a deal has been agreed with the Rams.
Gary Rowett’s side will pay an initial £2 million to Liverpool this summer with potential add-ons taking the player’s final valuation up to £4.5m in total.
Last month Rowett admitted that Derby were interested in a deal for Wisdom but feared that the valuation of Anfield officials may have priced them out of a deal.
“He is athletic, strong and has potential to play in the Premier League, so he is the type of player we are interested in,” he said at the time.
“I am sure [recent speculation] is a potential opportunity to try and stoke up the value a little bit.
“Certainly the values that they were talking would be more than we would be looking at, at the moment.
