Jurgen Klopp has hailed Liverpool’s comeback at Stoke City as ‘absolutely massive’.
A second-half turnaround from Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino saw the Reds consolidate their Champions League credentials at the Bet365 Stadium.
Jonathan Walters had put the Potters ahead until the Brazilians’ half-time introduction helped turn the tide back in Liverpool’s favour.
And Klopp believes that the win was vital in his side’s bid for a top four finish.
He said: “It is absolutely massive.
“We have won a few games this year but this was really special.
“You could feel it immediately in the dressing room, everyone was like ‘that’s very important’, but we have to prove it next week and [the] next week.
“It feels outstandingly good in this moment. We all worked really hard for the three points and we are happy for today.”
