David Moyes has warned that Sunderland will aim to park a ‘double-decker bus’ against Liverpool.
The Black Cats travel to Merseyside on the back of the Reds being frustrated in a goalless encounter with Manchester United last month and subsequently against Southampton just seven days ago.
A solid defensive setup from both sides was key to nullifying Jurgen Klopp’s title chasers and former Everton manager Moyes is under no illusions of his side’s remit at Anfield tomorrow.
He said: “I think you have to park the double-decker bus.
“I think anybody who has to play Liverpool has to park the double-decker bus.
“But hopefully we’ll have two centre-forwards like we’ve got at the moment scoring goals at the other end of the pitch as well.
“I don’t think you can kid yourself, Liverpool are in good form, a good team, and you have to be able to do that.”
