Viva! Vegan Festival is returning to Liverpool

Liverpool’s biggest vegan festival will take over the city again next month.

The Bluecoat is set to host Viva! Vegan Festival on August 12 with everything you ever wanted to know about going, being or staying vegan available.

Organised by the vegan charity, entry is £3 with under 16s going free while a copy of Everyone’s Going Vegan magazine will be given out to attendees.

More than 4,000 people are expected to visit the Bluecoat for the seven-hour event, with a whole range of food tastings and health advice available at no additional cost.

With over 100 stalls this festival will be a brilliant and welcoming family day out as vendors offer everything from vegan food to cruelty-free cosmetics.

The festival, which will be the second to be hosted in Liverpool, also includes an impressive schedule of cookery demos, talks and a kids’ zone.

Justin Kerswell, Viva! campaigns director, said: “Interest in veganism is expected to continue to boom in 2017.

“There are already a growing number of people in Liverpool who are vegan or vegetarian but this event is for everyone and all are welcome.

“For the increasing numbers of people who want to find out more about improving their health, saving animals and protecting the environment, this is an amazing event which will entertain and inspire.

“Showcasing the best vegan food in Liverpool, the Liverpool Viva! Vegan Festival will be a great day out that all the family can enjoy.”
