El Gato Negro Liverpool has revealed a fresh new look as part of a confident reset
Having settled into its new home on Castle Street, the restaurant has evolved beyond its opening phase to embrace its true identity, bringing more energy, atmosphere and personality to the experience.
Guests will be welcomed into a redesigned space, featuring all-new seating that enhances flow throughout the restaurant.
The refreshed decor introduces a more polished aesthetic, complemented by updated light fittings that create a warm and inviting atmosphere from day to night.
Throughout the space, there is a renewed emphasis on the iconic ‘black cat’ motif, which is subtly woven into the design details to reinforce the restaurant’s distinctive identity whilst adding character to the overall look and feel.
A key feature of the refurbishment is the newly launched chef’s table and open kitchen experience designed to enhance the dining experience and create a closer connection between guests and the kitchen adding personality to the venue.
The menu has also been reimagined, with more modern, finessed dishes sitting alongside a selection of signature classics with a key focus on ‘tapas but reimagined’.
Simon Shaw, founder and chef patron at El Gato Negro, said: “We’re really excited to introduce this next chapter for our Liverpool restaurant as we cement ourselves in our new location on one of Liverpool’s most iconic streets.
“The refit has allowed us to evolve the space in a way that reflects the style of the El Gato Negro brand, while still staying true to what our guests know and love about El Gato Negro.
“From the updated interiors to the new menu, every detail has been considered to enhance the overall experience. We can’t wait to welcome guests back in to see it for themselves.”
To celebrate the reopening, El Gato Negro Liverpool is offering guests the opportunity to experience the refreshed space with 50% off food from May 5 running for two weeks (Sunday-Thursday).
