Arne Slot does not believe Mohamed Salah is ‘distracted’ by his contract stand-off.
Salah publicly expressed his disappointment that Liverpool are yet to offer him a new deal as he enters the final six months of his existing contract.
The Egyptian also claimed that his Anfield future is currently ‘more out than in’, hinting at a potential end to his eight-year stay with the club this summer.
But Slot is adamant that he has not seen any evidence that Salah’s on-field performances have been impacted by the ongoing talks around his future.
He said: “I’ve said many times, I don’t share this (contract negotiations).
“If I look at my line-ups, Mo is more in than out. I don’t think he is distracted. I haven’t seen it. He is just fully focused on the game.
“These things are in the media and fans talk about it, but the players don’t.
“I don’t think there is any distraction for him or for the players.”
