Everton are set to open fresh contract talks with Jordan Pickford.
Pickford is now the second longest-serving player in David Moyes’ side after making 322 appearances since joining from Sunderland in summer 2017.
The England international, previously extended his stay with the Blues in February 2023 with a deal which is currently set to expire in just under two years’ time.
Moves are already afoot to safeguard Pickford’s future with a deal which could see him remaining at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the remainder of his playing career.
Moyes has pinpointed the four-time Player of the Season as a cornerstone of his rebuilding plans after playing a key role in the club’s Premier League survival bids.
The 31-year-old’s time on Merseyside saw him gain senior recognition with the Three Lions, establishing himself as the national side’s first-choice goalkeeper.
He is currently one of Everton’s highest earners alongside defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who extended his contract this summer, and loanee Jack Grealish.
