Out-of-favour Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has joined Anderlecht on loan.
The DR Congo international returned to Goodison Park earlier this month after exercising the option to cut short his season-long stay at Aston Villa.
But Bolasie’s return to the Blues proved short-lived as he agreed a deadline day more to the Belgian First Division A outfit for the remainder of the campaign.
Cuco Martina was another loan departure before the January transfer window closed as he returned to hometown club Feyenoord on a similar deal.
Everton recalled Martina from Stoke City, where he made 18 appearances, to facilitate the move which has the option to become permanent this summer.
Three other players left the blue half of Merseyside on short-term loans with Beni Baningime joining Wigan while Callum Connolly agreed a move to Bolton.
Under-23 midfielder Antony Evans was Everton’s final loan departure on deadline day with a move to League One side Blackpool.
Meanwhile the Goodison hierarchy rejected a second approach from Paris Saint-Germain for Idrissa Gueye after the midfielder intimated his wish to leave.
The Ligue 1 champions’ improved offer of £26 million failed to convince Everton to waver on their stance that the Senegal international is not for sale.
