Marco Silva believes Everton’s win over Brighton was their best home performance of the season.
A brace from Richarlison either side of Seamus Coleman’s first goal at Goodison Park for almost two years helped the Blues record a fourth win from five games.
The Brazilian’s second strike stole the headlines with a brilliant individual effort that led to post-match praise from visiting Seagulls manager Chris Hughton.
But Silva instead chose to focus on Everton’s overall display in the 3-1 victory, which he hailed as their most complete on home soil to date.
He said: “It was our best performance, I’m sure at home, this season.
“From the first minute, we started playing fast, quick and with good combinations out wide and inside.
“Of course, some of our players performed really well but the most important thing for me is how we perform as a team.
“We controlled the match and the only thing I didn’t like was the moment from the corner when they scored.
“We didn’t give them chances to score but we created chances to score more goals, It was a good performance and we deserve the three points.”
