Ramiro Funes Mori is reportedly on the verge of sealing his Everton exit.
Funes Mori made just four appearances for the Blues last season after recovering from a gruelling 10-month injury setback.
But the defender’s Goodison Park career may now be set to come to a close.
According to La Aficion claim that Funes Mori is in negotiations with Mexican outfit Monterrey, where his brother Rogelio is currently playing as a forward.
A move to the Liga MX side could net Everton up to £10 million, a profit on their original £9.5 outlay to sign the Argentina international in summer 2015.
Since returning from injury, Funes Mori found himself behind Everton’s first-choice defensive pairing of Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka as well as Ashley Williams.
Lazio have also previously been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old.
