Everton plan to replicate Borussia Dortmund’s ‘Yellow Wall’ in their new stadium.
Over 150 fans met with lead architect Dan Meis on Monday for a workshop on the creation of the Blues’ proposed future home at the Bramley-Moore Dock.
Initial designs for the site in the north Liverpool docks show an ambitious single-tiered stand not too dissimilar to Dortmund’s home end at Signal Iduna Park.
“We’re planning on creating a very large home end in the south stand of the stadium which should be similar to Dortmund’s Yellow Wall’,” revealed Meis.
“Depending on the final stadium capacity, the stand will hold 12,000-15,000 fans and we also want to include a concourse that will look back at the city, immediately by the home end that would be very cool.”
