Man arrested following Liverpool Airport arrival

A man was arrested upon his arrival at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Police detained Jason Nee on Sunday when he landed at the Speke terminal on a flight from Spain after twice breaching his gang injunction order.

The 34-year-old from Dovecot received a two-year gang injunction in May 2023 due to his involvement in serious organised crime.

He was allegedly associating with prohibited associates and failing to reside at a notified address, and was in possession of more than one mobile phone.

Nee appeared at Liverpool Civil and Family Court on Monday and has been remanded into custody.
