Two men charged with Ashley Dale’s murder

Two men have been charged in connection with the murder of Ashley Dale.

The 28-year-old Knowsley Council worker was fatally shot in the back garden of her Old Swan home during the early hours of August 21 last year.

As part of the ongoing investigation into her killing, detectives confirmed that Niall Barry, 26, and Sean Zeisz, 27, have both been charged with murder.

The pair, from Tuebrook and Huyton respectively, were remanded in custody ahead of appearing at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.

A total of 15 people have now been arrested in relation to this investigation.

Two other men, James Witham, 40, from Huyton and Joseph Peers, 28, from Roby were charged with murder and possession of a firearm with intent.

Kallum Radford, 25, of no fixed abode, has also been charged with assisting an offender.
