£200k reward for Olivia Pratt-Korbel’s killer

A £200,00 reward has been offered to find Olivia Pratt-Korbel’s killer.

Nine-year-old Olivia was shot inside her Dovecot home after a man opened fire on another man who burst into the property on the night of August 22.

The man who was chased into the house and suffered a bullet wound remains in hospital.

Detectives have made a total of nine arrests in connection with the schoolgirl’s murder but no charges have been brought as yet.

Crimestoppers are hoping that a new record reward will help to convince more people come forward with information that will catch Olivia’s assailant.

A private donor put forward £100,000 which was matched by the independent charity’s founder Lord Ashcroft, who had made an initial pledge of £50,000.

“This case has been incredibly shocking, not just for those who are directly affected, but also for Liverpool and the nation as a whole,” said Lord Ashcroft.

“I am delighted that with the support of a private donor, Crimestoppers can now offer a record £200,000 for information to catch Olivia’s killer.

“A precious young life has been lost so we need every effort to find those involved in this appalling killing.”
