Liverpool footballer Jon Flanagan has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend.
Flanagan was charged with the offence following an incident in Duke Street during the early hours of December 22.
The 25-year-old appeared at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday accused of kicking Rachel Wall with CCTV footage showing him kicking partner Rachel Wall.
No previous instances of domestic violence were recorded in the relationship between Flanagan and the victim, who has not provided a witness statement.
Reds defender Flanagan will be sentenced later this month on January 17.
