A protest will take place in Liverpool against plans by the Conservatives to form a coalition Government with the Democratic Unionist Party.
Hundereds of people are expected to join the 6.30pm demonstration as Theresa May continues talks the controversial Northern Irish political party.
Last week’s General Election drew a hung parliament as the Tories were left eight seat short of the 326 figured that is required to form a majority government.
As a result, the Prime Minister has turned to the DUP to form a coalition using their 10 elected seats to maintain her place as leader of the country.
But the move has raised concerns among the UK public given the party’s policies on women’s rights, same-sex equality and its links with terrorist organisations.
Taking place in Derby Square on Monday, the ‘Protest Against the Few’ will also see speakers from Northern Ireland in attendance to raise awareness of the DUP.
Organisers Kate Meaner said: “I saw a lot of things that I wasn’t happy with.
“They are anti-women’s rights, against LGBT rights and some of them are creationists.
“This isn’t what anyone voted for – even people who voted Conservative didn’t vote for this.”
