Two further arrests have been made as part of the investigation into Blake Brown’s murder.
Detectives probing the 30-year-old’s killing in Aigburth in October of last year have now arrested up to 12 people in connection with his death.
Two men, a 28-year-old from Anfield and a 22-year-old from St Helens, have now both been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
The 28-year-old has since been bailed until July 4, 2017 while the 22 year-old male has been released pending a disposal decision.
Brown suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head, thigh and buttock in the shooting on Southwood Road at around 10.30pm on October 24.
