As January grows closer, rumours are circling as to which teams will be undergoing a switch up and which players are likely to be signed to new teams. Here are rumoured scenarios for this upcoming winter transfer window.
Danny Loader
Readings striker, Danny Loader, has created a buzz after his debut at the Carabao Cup in 2017 and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on him, despite him being of a lower league. Loader is not short of Premier League interest and with his contract ending at the end of the season, he will likely be snapped up by a bigger team.
Jadon Sancho
Manchester Cities former player, Jadon Sancho, had been rumoured to be moving teams in 2020, from Borussia Dortmund, and it is looking like he will have more than one club pursuing his signature. Manchester United are interested in the youngster, as they have a history of signing young, homegrown players.
Ben White
Brighton’s defender, Ben White, is of interest to multiple big clubs after his performance while on loan to Leeds United. Brighton’s manager has made it very clear that White is not for sale and that his future is with the Seagulls. But this hasn’t stopped whispers suggesting big clubs, like Liverpool and Manchester United, are taking steps to sign the centre-back.
Lucas Torreira
The Arsenal midfielder has not ruled out an exit and is open to signing with other clubs in the January transfer window. Torreira has expressed his desire to play for an Argentinian team during his career, as well as voicing his dislike for Arsenals change in role. Dejan Kulusevski
Manchester United and Arsenal have their sights set on Kulusevski after his performance for Parma this season. The 19-year old has expressed that he is happy with Parma and is not thinking of the upcoming transfers, but with these big teams after him and the likelihood of large signing bonuses, will he have changed his tune when January comes around.
Martin Odegaard
Odegaard is receiving interest from multiple major clubs, who will be offering big bucks for the player on their listing. He is playing his cards close to his chest and bookmakers are offering bets as to whether he will stay with Real Madrid or move away during the winter transfer. Odegaard was signed at the age of 16 and once he found his feet, he held the attention of clubs like Manchester City and United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Wolves, likely leading to multiple offers heading his way in January.
