Liverpool are reportedly fearful that Philippe Coutinho is eyeing a move to Barcelona.
Coutinho has been an integral component in the Reds’ early surge into the Premier League title race under Jurgen Klopp this season.
But reports in Spain claim that Anfield officials are concerned that the Brazilian may have already set his sights on a move away from the club.
Catalan newspaper Sport allege that Coutinho is a fan of Barcelona and that his recent appointment of agent Kia Joorabchian could pave the way for a move.
Joorabchian was influential in securing Carlos Tevez’s controversial move to Manchester City after he had risen to prominence with Manchester United.
He also brokered an £18 million deal with Liverpool to sign Javier Mascherano in 2007 due to the Argentine midfielder’s erstwhile third-party ownership.
