Strictly gets the Liverpudlian vote in battle of the reality giants

As the new season of high profile, store big budget reality shows hit the screens, pharmacy a new poll has revealed which reality show is the most popular with viewers. And its good news for Strictly Come Dancing and its dancers. Perhaps recent reports of dwindling audience numbers on Simon Cowells reality singing show are true, because according to this new survey viewers in Liverpool have voted Strictly as more popular than its X-Factor rival. 

And as the nights draw in, new research has also revealed which shows we are likely curl up on the sofa and binge watch, with the most popular boxsets also announced, and it appears that British productions are still riding high with Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey sitting pretty, followed by Breaking Bad, Sex and the City and the classic wartime drama Band of Brothers. And it seems that while the vast majority of us spend at least one hour a week glued to our favourite shows, a third (33%) of us now devote anywhere between three and ten hours every week on our boxset obsessions.
