Mario Balotelli’s unhappy Liverpool spell could soon be at an end after Sion confirmed they were in talks with the out-of-favour striker.
The former Italy international has been banished from training with the Reds’ first-team by Jurgen Klopp after failing to feature in his plans at Anfield.
Sion have reportedly earmarked Balotelli to replacement their current striker Moussa Konate, who is currently the subject of interest from Hull City.
And the Swiss club’s chairman Christian Constantin claims that they have entered into negotiations with the Reds striker’s representatives in London.
“I confirm that we are speaking,” he told ticinonews
“Negotiations are under way. Now of course I cannot know if it will succeed or not.”
