Sevilla have confirmed their interest in Liverpool midfield duo Joe Allen and Luis Alberto.
Allen is set to feature for Wales in tonight’s Euro 2016 semi-final with Portugal but the Reds have yet to open talks over an extension to his Anfield career.
And the uncertainty over the 26-year-old’s future, with his current contract expiring in 12 months’ time, has seen Sevilla emerge as potential suitors.
The Europa League winners’ sporting director Monchi revealed that Allen, previously the subject of an £8 million bid from former club Swansea, and Sao Paulo playmaker Ganso are among their targets.
He said: “Ganso and Allen aren’t the only players that fit in our plans.
“They are on our list and they match with the profile that we are searching for.”
A potential return to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pijuan for Alberto is also on the agenda, with Liverpool setting a £7 million price tag for the out-of-favour midfielder.
“We received an offer from Luis Alberto’s agent,” Monchi added.
“We’re assessing it but we haven’t opened talks wih Liverpool.
“He fits in our playing style and can be an interesting option for us.”
