Liverpool are battling with Manchester United to land Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
Neves has been a name continually linked with Anfield in recent months and conflicting reports in Portugal suggest that the Reds will not be alone in their pursuit of the 19-year-old.
A host of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, have pursued a deal for Neves but the shortlist has been whittled down to just Liverpool and United.
O Jogo suggest that new United boss Jose Mourinho has moved into the lead in the pursuit of his compatriot but DN Sports claim that talks over a €20 million transfer are taking place between Liverpool officials and their Porto counterparts.
