Liverpool FC cleared to make move for Euro 2016 star

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been cleared to agree the signing of Celta Vigo forward Nolito.

Klopp has made a number of signings for the Reds since taking up his role but is yet to make any signing that will bolster his attack.

Liverpool have been linked with a move to sign the Spanish international, who has caught the eye for his country at Euro 2016, for quite some time.

TalkSport claim that the Reds have moved in with an offer to sign Nolito in a deal that would see the 29-year-old remain with Celta until the end of the coming season.

Club president Carlos Mourino has long appeared resigned to the striker’s fate, with a buy-out clause in the region of £14 million.

He said: “I think Nolito will leave Celta this year.

“There are no numbers, no negotiations. He has a buy-out clause of €18 million.

“Whoever pays it can sign him.”

Last season, the left winger featured in 29 La Liga games for Celta, scored 12 goals and also providing seven assists.
