Liverpool have reportedly missed out on one of their key transfer targets after Raphael Guerreiro closed in on a move to Borussia Dortmund.
Jurgen Klopp’s former club appear to have trumped the Reds to the Lorient left-back, who is set to undergo a medical with the Bundesliga outfit.
Guerreiro had previously been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool towards the end of last season however he has instead opted to join Dortmund.
L’Equipe claim the Portugal international is set to put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Lorient are also set to receive a 20 per cent cut of any future sale of the player.
