Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of finalising a deal for Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Reports in Germany claim that Karius has agreed terms with the Reds ahead of a summer switch.
The 22-year-old has been in good form for Mainz this season, keeping 10 clean sheets in 36 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
Karius had extended his contract until 2018 however Kicker claim that that his contract has a €10 million (£7.8M) release clause that the Anfield club have triggered.
Jurgen Klopp’s raid of his former club is likely to spell the end for current stopper Simon Mignolet, who has endured another inconsistent season as Liverpool’s number-one.
