Liverpool FC fans unhappy with UEFA over small TV screens in Basel

Liverpool fans have voiced their displeasure at the insufficient size, and lack of, big television screens installed by UEFA in Basel ahead of the Europa League final.

Jurgen Klopp’s side face Sevilla at St. Jakob Park in Wednesday’s showdown, and Reds fans who have travelled to Switzerland, are unhappy with the provisions offered by UEFA.

Pictures have circulated on social media of one screen in the Munsterplatz square, designated for Liverpool fans, which is particularly on the small side.

The square, along with areas in Markplatz and Barfusserplatz, have also been allocated to the travelling Liverpool supporters who have not managed to get a ticket for the game.

Ticket allocation for the final has been a huge source of controversy for Liverpool, with the club only recieving just over 10,000 official tickets, with many more expected to travel.

Manager Klopp advised fans without tickets not to travel, however many eager supporters are likely to ignore the German’s and travel to the Reds first European final in nine years.
