Liverpool midfielder Allan is set to spend another six months at Fluminense.
Allan has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Reds since joining from Internacional in summer 2015 owing to ongoing work permit issues.
The midfielder plied his trade at a succession of clubs on loan including Hertha Berlin, Apollon Limassol, Eintracht Frankfurl and Belgian side Sint-Truiden.
But a season-long stint with Eintracht was cut short in January as Liverpool allowed Allan to return to his native Brazil to join Fluminense temporarily.
Globo Esporte claim that the 22-year-old will be allowed to remain with the current Campeonato strugglers until the end of the league’s season in December.
It means that Allan could be available for Jurgen Klopp’s side heading into the second half of the 2019/20 campaign provided a work permit can be granted.
