Jurgen Klopp has urged Liverpool fans to ‘go to bed at 10pm’ before their game with Burnley.
Sunday’s midday encounter between the sides will see the Reds aiming to keep the pressure on Manchester City in the Premier League title race with a win.
Anything other than a victory over Sean Dyche’s side threatens to leave the Anfield club with further ground to make up in their remaining eight games.
With plenty at stake, Klopp has challenged Liverpool fans heading to the game against the Clarets to produce a rousing atmosphere for the high noon clash.
He said: “I don’t think our record is that bad anymore. Maybe it was.
“I think the first time we played the Europa League on Thursday and then we had to go to Swansea. That was the first time I was tired in the meeting!
“We don’t have these issues anymore. Our people are very important, we spoke a lot about that. We need atmosphere at 12 o’clock.
“If you have a ticket for the stadium, go to bed at 10pm latest on Saturday night, don’t drink and be on your toes from the first until the last second.”
