Liberte to open pan Asian restaurant in Liverpool

Liberte the New York-inspired venue which opened in the summer now welcomes a pan asian themed restaurant which will boast panoramic views of Liverpool’s famous World Heritage site. The New York-inspired venue can be found on third floor of the Bentley Building on the Strand.

Owner and DJ, Liam Hincks, said: “We have taken our time selecting the right menu that fits the venue and ties in with our vast selection of drinks. The name Liberté, meaning freedom, was chosen to reflect the venues New York influence. With views of the river Mersey in the backdrop it was important to keep some of the city’s grand heritage and the statue of Liberty being the first Landmark you see when travelling on the infamous Liverpool – New York cruise line route. Anyone who steps inside can see how we have fused the 2 great cities together in the design and concept. We worked very closely with local graffiti arstist Jazz Stan who has worked on projects with the likes of Estrella Beer and the Baltic Market “

The restaurant will be open from October with a soft opening due in the next few weeks. Interest has been great with General Manager John Ryder commenting “Since opening the cocktail bar in the summer we have built up a really good clientele and we will now add food with the restaurant open from 12 until 10. We then take it up a notch at the weekend with vocal anthems from 10 until 2 so its the perfect spot to start and end your night with amazing views.”

Liberté has stunning panoramic views of the city. Covering 2,000sq. ft on the third floor of the Bentley building and facing the waterfront, the cocktail bar and restaurant also has plans to capitalise on the roof terrace space for guests to enjoy. This will be announced very soon.

John Ryder continues ” The menu includes a lot of pan asian favourites as well as some of our own dishes with a twist. Such as the duck bon bons. We have been very popular since opening with the female half of the city due to the instagram appeal of our venue. There are so many photo opportunities in Liberte. We hope our food adds to that.”
