Liverpool’s 30 James Street Hotel is the luckiest for love, with 97% of brides and grooms choosing to tie the knot there still happily married.
A study – carried out by hotel owner Signature Living – found that of the 500 weddings which have taken place in the venue, 485 of them are still going strong today.
The luxury Liverpool hotel has bucked the national trend, with data from the Office of National Statistics in 2016 revealing 101,055 opposite sex couples divorced in England and Wales.
30 James St, which opened its doors in 2014, boasts stunning views of the city’s waterfront and has been incredibly popular with couples keen to tie the knot.
Hotel bosses offer newlyweds the chance to mark the one-year anniversary with a free overnight stay.
So, why are couples turning to 30 James St for matrimonies made in heaven?
