Liverpool’s friendly with Tranmere Rovers has been brought forward.
The Champions League finalists were originally due to travel to Prenton Park on Wednesday, July 11 as part of their pre-season preparations.
However the game will now take place a full 24 hours earlier, on July 10.
Anfield officials claim that the decision to reschedule the match was driven by England’s potential involvement in the World Cup semi-final later this month.
Should they beat Sweden in Saturday’s last eight tie, Gareth Southgate’s side will take on either Croatia or hosts Russia for a place in the July 15 final.
Liverpool’s opening pre-season friendly at Chester FC coincides with this weekend’s England match but will remain unchanged from its 3pm kick-off time.
