Liverpool have unveiled a ‘Deep Violet’ away kit for the 2018/19 season.
On the eve of learning who they will face in the forthcoming Premier League campaign, the Reds revealed their new and striking change strip.
New Balance incorporated Anfield’s heritage into the design with a jacquard linear graphic that reflects the iconic Main Stand featuring prominently.
To commemorate the tragic events of Hillsborough, the 96 emblem, encased by the eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck.
The goalkeeper away shirt has been engineered in line with the outfield players’ jerseys and is a bold Vivid Cactus with Black patterned sleeves and Black embroidered logo and crest.
Virgil van Dijk said: “As a player the most important thing is how the shirt feels and performs.
“This kit gives us confidence to play to the best of our ability away from home.
“We have the best travelling support in football and I’m excited to run out in front of our fans wearing this strip.”
Fans who purchase an adult shirt, junior shirt, mini kit or baby kit before the 1st July will also receive a £10 Liverpool FC retail voucher to spend in-store and online between July 1 and July 31, 2018.
LFC Season Ticket Holders and Members also receive 10% discount when purchasing the kit in-store and online.
