Liverpool are eyeing a move for Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.
The Switzerland international will be available for in the region of £13 million following the Potters’ relegation from the Premier League this season.
Shaqiri remain keen on staying in English football despite having no appetite for continuing at Stoke in their new-found Championship status.
Several top-flight clubs are understood to be in the hunt with the Reds for the former Bayern Munich playmaker, including Tottenham and Southampton.
Liverpool almost signed Shaqiri in 2014 while at the Allianz Arena but the Bavarians blocked a move to Anfield and later sold him to Inter Milan.
