Liverpool announce 2018/19 ticket price freeze

Liverpool have announced they will freeze ticket prices for the 2018/19 season.

Both season ticket and general admission tickets have been frozen, meaning prices will have stayed the same for three successive seasons.

It marks the latest effort from owners Fenway Sports Group to find a solution to ticket prices that suits all.

The club recently set up a new ticket prices forum, which met for the first time last month to discuss pricing.

Further meetings with the forum are planned to discuss ideas relating to the cost of tickets and how they are distributed moving forward.

An increase of the £9 ticket has been mooted, with the decision to increase the number of those tickets to 10,000 across the campaign proving popular both this season and last season.

Liverpool’s current cheapest season ticket stands at £685, the third highest in the division behind Chelsea and Arsenal.
