Liverpool are planning to offer Roberto Firmino and Ben Woodburn new deals.
Firmino has become a focal point of Jurgen Klopp’s forward line while Woodburn continues to gain prominence for both the Reds and internationally with Wales.
The Brazil international’s future is already tied to Anfield until summer 2020 but he is now set to be rewarded with negotiations on an improved terms deal.
Woodburn will also be offered a new contract after enjoying regular first-team appearances since he became Liverpool’s youngest-ever goal scorer last season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the highly-rated teenager is due to confirm signing professional terms when he turns 18 on October 15.
However talks over Emre Can’s future are unlikely to be revisited with the midfielder fast approaching the end of his existing deal next summer.
Juventus are continuing to monitor the Germany international’s situation as the prospect of signing him on a free transfer grows increasingly more likely.
A release clause is thought to be at the heart of Can’s refusal to commit to Liverpool long-term despite Klopp’s previous confidence of an agreement.
