Liverpool winger Ryan Kent has agreed a new long-term contract with the club.
Kent featured prominently for Jurgen Klopp’s side in their pre-season campaign and scored in the Audi Cup final penalty shoot-out defeat to Atletico Madrid.
The 20-year-old has since been rewarded with a fresh five-year deal to extend his stay at Anfield until the summer of 2022.
He spent last season on loan with Barnsley but Kent is now setting his sights on a regular first-team role with the Reds.
He said: “Committing myself to Liverpool is a very big thing, so I’d like to become a fully fledged member of the team and become a regular starter.
“It’s the team I’ve dreamed myself playing for since I was seven years old, so that’s where I’d like to see myself in the future.”
