Jurgen Klopp demands bravery from Liverpool FC against Borussia Dortmund

Jurgen Klopp has called on Liverpool’s players to show bravery against Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night.

With the Europa Leegue quater-final tie delicately poised at 1-1 on aggregate, the Reds manager has issued a rallying call to his players to take the game to their high-flying Bundesliga opponents.

“Against a high-quality team you need to be brave. Opportunities will come for us in the game, but we need to be brave and take them.”

Klopp was also keen to add that the influence of the Anfield crowd could be crucial in driving Liverpool on towards victory tomorrow night.

“The best atmosphere I have witnessed so far was against Manchester United (in the previous round), but hopefully that (the atmosphere) can jump again tomorrow.”

“The atmosphere can be the biggest difference”, Klopp added.

Despite an impressive first leg performance by the Reds in Germany last week, Klopp insisted that he and his players are focused solely on the task in hand, as Dortmund will pose a huge threat.

“We have to ignore the first game and endeavour to find a balance between defence and attack.”

“Because Dortmund are a team that can score goals against anyone in world football”, warned the former Dortmund boss.

Klopp was also quizzed about his line up, and whether or not he intended to start Divock Origi, scorer from the first leg, or Daniel Sturridge, however he said no final decision had been made.

“There are possibilities on the line up and I can make no mistakes on this as manager, but I still have to think and make my decision.”
